Životopis
Krešimir Pripužić redoviti je profesor na Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, Hrvatska (FER), gdje vodi Laboratorij za tokove podataka. Na Zavodu za telekomunikacije FER-a radi od 2003. godine, a u zvanje redovitog profesora promoviran je u srpnju 2022. godine. Sudjeluje kao istraživač u radu Znanstvenog centra izvrsnosti za znanost o podatcima i kooperativne sustave koji je prvi je nacionalni centar izvrsnosti u području tehničkih znanosti u Hrvatskoj.
U rujnu 2003. godine diplomirao (dipl.ing.) je na FER-u u polju elektrotehnike na smjeru Telekomunikacije i informatika. Tijekom akademske godine 2002.-2003. bio je primatelj Državne studentske stipendije koju dodjeljuje Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta Republike Hrvatske. Od listopada 2003. do srpnja 2004. radio je na Zavodu za telekomunikacije FER-a kao znanstveni suradnik na znanstvenom projektu između Zavoda za telekomunikacije i Odjela za istraživanje i razvoj tvrtke KATE-KOM, Zagreb, Hrvatska. Od srpnja 2004. do listopada 2011. radio je na Zavodu za telekomunikacije FER-a kao znanstveni novak financiran od strane Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta Republike Hrvatske. U ožujku 2005. godine započeo je doktorski studij na FER-u, koji je uspješno završio u lipnju 2010. godine obranom doktorske disertacije s naslovom Top-k Publish/Subscribe Matching Model Based on Sliding Window, mentori Ivana Podnar Žarko i Karl Aberer. U okviru doktorskog studija proveo je akademsku godinu 2006.-2007. u laboratoriju Laboratoire de Systèmes d'Information Répartis na Sveučilištu EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), Švicarska, kao stipendist Švicarske konfederacije. Od srpnja 2010. do listopada 2011. radio je na Zavodu za telekomunikacije FER-a u suradničkom zvanju višeg asistenta. Od listopada 2011. do lipnja 2017. radio je na radnom mjestu docenta na Zavodu za telekomunikacije FER-a. Od lipnja 2017. do srpnja 2022. radio je na radnom mjestu izvanrednog profesora na Zavodu za telekomunikacije FER-a.
Koautor je više od 30 znanstvenih radova u časopisima i na međunarodnim konferencijama. Njegov glavni istraživački interes su raspodijeljeni sustavi, analiza velikih podataka, obrada tokova podataka i Internet stvari.
Član je udruga IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Geoscience & Remote Sensing Society.
